John Chow is an internet celebrity who makes thousands of dollars a month by blogging about making money blogging and verbally fellating advertisers. And he's also an asshole.
To completely understand why John Chow is an asshole, look no further than the title of his blog: I Make Money Online By Telling People How I Make Money Online. Which means because other people are gullible and stupid enough to read his blog for information on how to make money blogging, he makes money. Pretty fucking redundant if you ask me.
At this point, you're probably thinking, "So what? The guy makes money off stupid people being stupid. Where's the problem?" The problem is that the aforementioned stupid people try to emulate his "make money by telling people how to make money" business model and flood the whole fucking internet with shitty "Make money by blogging about making money" blogs.
Said morons then in turn mention John Chow on their horrendous blogs in a desperate attempt to show up on search engines and consequently give the man an undue validation and sense of authority. The end result? An anarchistic pyramid scheme wherein thousands of shitty blogs reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of every blogging community whose owners have a weekly circle-jerk over John Chow's books and blog posts.
So as the ringleader and great instigator of this "make money by telling other people how to make money" internet subculture, John Chow, you are an asshole.
