Every once in a while, someone will say something so stupid that it makes me wish I could go back in time and puncture my eardrums with an icepick. Since these instances of utter thoughtlessness have happened more frequently as of late, I've decided to turn them into what should become a regular installment on Kobra's Corner.
And to kick things off, we've got a real doozey of an expression of catastrophic stupidity:
Liberalism/socialism is more of a feel good emotional concept while conservatism is more about common sense and passion.
This person is contrasting a "feel good emotional concept" with "passion." Statements like these are the reasons internet forums should have a minimum IQ for participation. You must be this smart to write. Sorry, go the fuck home, Billy Joe Dumbass. That sort of thing. Instead, we get imbeciles who think passion and emotion are mutually exclusive ideas.
Since this person is so clearly stupid, I really can't be surprised by the fact that they staked claim to "common sense." Common sense is nothing to be proud of, you ignorant cock. What actually constitutes as common sense? Having the same biases, misconceptions, and delusions and making the same assumptions, fallacies, and misinterpretations as the other mentally deficient simians in your community? And you're fucking bragging about that? Find a new buzz word to parrot around like an imbecile.
Finally, the equivocation of liberalism and socialism is like icing on the cake, only instead of cake it's a mound of shit and instead of icing it's a pureed fetus.
People like this are the reason I'm pro choice.
