I Hate Parties
Especially Political Parties!! *BA DUM KSHHH!!*
Okay, I'm done. I'm going to a Halloween party tonight (any excuse to arm myself to the teeth and throw fake blood on my clothes sounds like fun to me) and I will be back at about Noon tomorrow. You're probably thinking "Why the hell should I give a shit about this?" Good question. There's one problem with me leaving soon to go to an overnight party: I don't have my work schedule for the week. In fact, I'm almost certain I was scheduled to work today, but my Assistant Manager never called me back and I'm probably fired. Goody.
If I am, expect some rants and possibly stories from my workplace. If I'm not, expect a major lack of updates for the next few weeks.
What is your costume gonna be?
It's people like that (your Assistant Manager) who were offered money for college but didn't go because then they would have to give up their high-end position at the local McDonalds and congratulations all they have now is their 25-year employee pin.

Hahaha, actually my Assistant Manager is pretty cool for a burnt-out hippy. The only person I don't like there is this cranky old hag named Cherie. Even her name sounds whorish and ill-natured!
ZomG when I worked at a donut shop I had a driver named Cherie and she was an old hag! She smoked a pack of cigarettes every day and she was proud of working at the donut shop for over 15 years! One day, she yelled at me cause I put three pieces of bacon on a customer's sandwich instead of two.
Doesn't matter. I was off that day, I worked five hours yesterday, and I have the rest of the week off except Thursday. w00t! It freaking rules to be me.
Also: That was my post, not Omen's. Nevermind what I was doing on his account.
lol, I used to make a good bit, but now that I go to school, my Hours are pretty much A Day and a Half.
Only reason I haven't been fired is because I do a "Damn good job" when I'm there; I've only had one problem, which I pretty much made them retract. I went slower for awhile, and each day we finished 30 minutes before the end of the shift. Fine, Fine, but then they tell me to go faster... and so I did about 5-7 Aisles compared to everyone else's 1-3, particularly out of Sarcasm. We got done 3 hours before Clock-out, and had nothing to do whatsoever; I was actually given permission to go "slow." (I left the conversation with my two bosses with, "There is a Difference between Delay Tactics and Pure Delay." They are cool though so They got the joke.)
I also am able to do much more than the others, like carry 120 lbs. worth of Pallets to the back at my side quickly, and being about 1-2 feet taller than everyone else, the jobs to Backstock and Climb above the Produce to grab Unperishables. But now I'm getting an ego, so I'll stop now.
My bosses are Scotty, our bald Metal/Rock Enthusiast, he's a manager up in the office, he pretty much always runs around shouting "Yo (name), you got that right-nya!" or something. He's cool though, he's the only one who says he'd allow "Adventne Winged Angel" Over the P.A. heh.
And Natalia, A Pole who has a noticeable Accent, and a Work-a-holic attitude. Me and John (Not Lariat) finally got her to cool down on the latter until we got a stream of new guys, which got her back into a fit. She's really strict, but it's really a case of Earn respect before you get it.
By the way: my costume consisted of me wearing all black, a spiked leather bracer, a katana, a wakizashi, and two fake scars made with pencil eyeliner and fake blood. I don't ever buy costumes, I make them myself.
