Farewell to Nightmare
Nightmare, if you haven't already figured it out, was one of the first members of Kobra's Realm. He joined as a bored teenager looking for something to do in his spare time, and he leaves an ill-struck young man with possibly-terminal illnesses.
It really sucks when things like this happen. It's just like the phrase goes: only the good die young. So, as a result, I'll probably live forever. Unfortunately, this is less likely for Nightmare.
There's a good chance that Nightmare doesn't have stomach cancer, and there's also a chance that he doesn't really have diabetes, but it doesn't look good. As the realist that I am, I'm going to jump to the conculsion that, if he survives, his life probably won't be as fulfilling as it used to be... especially since he has permanently quit the Kobra's Realm Staff.
Nightmare, if and when you're reading this, you are probably one of the few people in this world who could contemplate the manifold flaws of humanity and still retain a sense of humor. This is a rare find, and it may be decades after Kobra's Realm shuts down before we finally find someone else who has that same feat. Your presence is a neverending source of entertainment and, although you might feel contrary, we appreciated you as much as we appreciate a good friend. Kobra's Realm will never be the same again.
Nightmare is a legend. If Kobras Realm had a book of history, Nightmare would be in a good chunk of it. I respect Nightmare's decision and I salute his leave. Good luck, Nightmare
I think Kobra pretty much stated it the best anyone could. I wholly agree and I think that few members of this community will ever deserve such kind (and true) words
