I spent most of the month of April mocking and bitching about religion, so it seems only appropriate that the theme of the emails I received (post spam filter) reflected this.

Subject: Family religion?
Hey, may be kind of a personal question so feel free not to respond, but I was just curious: I know you're and agnostic of sorts, but what religion do your parents and other ancestors adhere to?
In the past, I have been intentionally vague about details about my family for two reasons:
- The part of my family that I care about doesn't need their dirty laundry aired.
- The part of my family that I don't care about isn't very interesting.
With that said, I don't honestly know what most of my family members honestly believe. My mom is a Pastafarian and I'm pretty sure my dad's a Fuckitologist (The belief of "Fuck it!"). My grandparents on my dad's side are both dead, while my mom's side is almost exclusively Christian. My aunts, uncles, and cousins are irrelevant to your question and to anyone who would bother reading this (See point 2 in the above list).

Yeah, I assume you don't believe in G-d* or anything (or at least by your rants you don't appear to - just an assumption) but I'm praying for you man. WTF ever happened to free speech!? It took nuts to post those stories and you have my respect. I always enjoyed your rants and flames especially against all the hate mail you get. Your fighting the good fight man, a true patriot if I ever saw one. If there is anything I can do for you, let me know.

* G-d = God. Just for future reference: It is typical for Jews to use G-d in the place of the word to keep torah (the law of moses). Just wanted to throw that out there. I know your not trying to kill ppl or anything (lol).
Normally when I decide to post an email like this, I trim it down to the question to decrease page load times and minimize the amount of text that my readers (that's you) have to sift through. Not this time!
On with the question: "What the fuck ever happened to free speech?" Two words: Political correctness.
I know, I know. "But Kobra, Political Correctness is just a straw-man argument!" Sure, it started out that way, but our prude society took this and memetically transformed it into an unwritten rule everyone is supposed to abide by at all times. To hell with that!
Money also has something to do with it. I'm a good bad example of this: Nobody pays me to write stuff here, and transitively nobody tells me what to write.
