I've decided to try something new. For years I've been posting emails sent from people who hate me, disagree with everything I say, and would love nothing better than to see my site fall off the face of the internet. As much fun as it is to deal with these idiots, it gets old-- fast. To break the monotony, I've started a "monthly mailbag." I might call it "Ask Kobra" or something eventually, but for now it's just the mailbag.
Since this is the first one, I'm going to dig all the way through my inbox back through all of 2007 to post some of the good questions that need not be washed away by the tides of obscurity... or something like that. To be honest, most of my readers are afraid of me filleting any emails they send me, so I'm relying on old material.
Most of the emails I receive will be posted in their entirety, but I will crop some down to the actual question because I don't want to respond to a 11 paragraph ramble and I doubt you want to read it.

Are you actually this angry all the time? The alternative of course,
that you just post these things when you are angry...
The answer lies in the middle: I'm not angry all the time, but I'm angry more often than I'd like to be. It's always something insignificant that pisses me off, too. For example: When I'm at work and people evade my hand to drop their money on the counter, I feel like uppercutting them. If enough of these old bastards do this, I'll eventually come home and write about how much it pisses me off.

Unless walking outside my cramped computer room is going to mystically get me a girlfriend, my heart really isn't into it. Outside to most people means the beach, fun, and games that leave you sweaty and giggling-- outside to me means allergies, people, and weather. Fuck that.
That's it for now. Every other email I've read follows this format: (Background of person sending email) (Expression of gratitude for saying what nobody else will say) ("You're awesome") (Promise to check Kobra's Corner religiously), so it would be pointless to post most of it.
