I Hate Sundays
Can you name the last time you had fun on a Sunday? No, of course you can't.
Sundays suck for a number of reasons:
There's nothing good on TV on Sundays.
Sundays are peak hours for CNN reruns and boring dramas because most people go to church on Sundays, leaving only the unimpressionable viewers who don't buy stupid shit on impulse. As a result, television broadcasters have no incentive in putting anything interesting on the air so we all suffer.
They roll up the sidewalks at sundown.
If you want to salvage a wasted day by going to a store to buy something, TOO FUCKING BAD! Everything is either closed entirely on Sunday, or it closes early.
Church groups make restaurant lines unbearable.
If you want to go out to eat with your family on Sunday, be prepared to wait for 20 minutes for a table for 3 people to open up.
Sunday drivers.
On Sunday, the road is littered with old people on their way home from church and hung-over rednecks in large pick-up trucks that compensate for their lack of a brain.
The Post Office is closed.
Usually when we're waiting on a letter to arrive in the mail, it's important. Sundays are a black-out day for receiving important documents. What a fucking waste of time!
The choice is clear: Let's give Sunday to the schools and take Fridays off from now on. Bonus points if you force parents choose between school and church.
