Attention Atheists: You Can't Change History!
As much as Christianity is a thorn in your side, we have to draw the line of bullshit somewhere. Trying to censor our history for the sake of your beliefs then bitching about Christians trying to do the same is completely insipid.
A good example of Atheists overstepping their bounds is the case where they attempted to forbid every court in the entire fucking country from displaying the 10 Commandments of the Bible-- even ones where the display has been there for centuries!
As American citizens, we have to respect everyone else's right to have an opinion (no matter how stupid it may be) so long as their opinion doesn't interfere with us. Does it really bother anyone that some courthouse 300 years ago decided to display the 10 Commandments? No? Then why bother removing it if it has historical significance? (Anything over 100 years old has historical significance, some historians believe.)
When I first heard about this controversy, I immediately offered a solution: "Forbid NEW courts from displaying the 10 Commandments of the Bible, but leave older courts alone for the sake of historical accuracy." As the controversy continues, it's obvious that nobody listened to me.
There are other examples, but I don't have the audacity to sit here for three hours typing a boring speech that nobody will ever read.
In closing, Atheists who try to destroy History (usually prior to complaining about Christianity trying to censor art) are worthless fellatrices.
