What's so ironic about Intelligent Design?

Intelligent Design-- the assertion that "certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection" (Source: Wikipedia)-- is a cop-out belief for stupid people who can't grasp the concept of probability; used to pin the existence of the universe on their religion's patron deity.

The morons who wrote Intelligent Design hope to bridge the gap between science and religion; and they've done a wonderful job (at using only half of the Scientific Method, that is).

This would be perfectly fine (stupid is as stupid does) if it weren't for the fact that they're trying to force this unverifiable belief-- without any evidence supporting it-- into the classroom.

Intelligent Design has only fueled the fire of the Evolution vs. Creationism debate; of which I have found a viable solution:

If you want to raise your children to be Christians, send them to Church!

There's no need to "integrate the opposing beliefs." If you want your child to be a Christian, send them to church and advise them not to take science classes. If you want your child to be a success, let them decide for themselves. You can't force kids to believe in something and expect them to properly function in society.

Science class is for science; not some over-assuming minister's attempt to sound scientific. If this is above your understanding, the arena of logic isn't for you.
